I can see how mind altering substances can make experience more enticing, making a normal state of mind seem boring. But that’s because you’ve fallen into the abyss that is routine in society where nothing new presents itself. You’ve gotta go out and look for experience you normally wouldn’t find. You gotta look for the sublime.
